About us

Founded on Bastille Day in 1999, The Red Dot has become a cherished fixture in Hudson, evolving from a time when few businesses lined Warren Street. In those early days, our restaurant thrived on word-of-mouth, quickly becoming a hub for community events and celebrations. Over the years, we've hosted everything from fundraisers and Halloween parties to weddings and charity auctions. In 2002, we expanded by acquiring the building next door, adding a dance floor, screening room, and a charming garden space, complete with an outdoor fire for guests to enjoy.

Our menu has always been a testament to freshness and quality, featuring staples like burgers, Belgian frites, mussels, steaks, and fish and chips. Every week we have new and exciting weekly specials that coincide with the seasons and incorporate local farm offerings. We also host brunch on weekends. Marc Luciano, our chef for over fifteen years, and professionally trained at the New England Culinary Institute, has consistently strengthened our reputation for excellent cuisine. We take pride in our festive Christmas decorations, which have gained international attention, and in participating in local celebrations like Winterwalk, Halloween and Flag Day. Whether you're here for Meatloaf Monday or just to enjoy the ambiance, we invite everyone to pull up a chair and experience the warmth and hospitality of The Red Dot.
